Scallion (or Chive) Pancakes are remind me of lazy weekends during my childhood. It’s easy to make, delicious, and healthy!
Let’s get started.
Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 10-30 min (depending on number of batches)

Ingredients:
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Splash of sesame oil
- Ground black pepper and red chili pepper to season
INSTRUCTIONS (makes about 6-8 pancakes for 2-4 people)
- Mix flour, eggs, water together in a bowl
- Add in sesame oil, salt, ground black pepper, red cili pepper and mix
- Mix in scallions
- Head oil in a medium heat pan
- Once hot, pour pancake into the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side
- [Optional] If desired, add in sausages or meat of your choice after pancakes have cooked for 1-2 minutes (before flipping!)
- Remove from pan and enjoy! (Suggested dipping sauces are soy sauce, sriracha, or ketchup)
